Inspirit Way ~ Internal Qigong Alchemy
Internal Qigong Alchemy is an ancient Chinese Daoist spiritual system, which has three components.
Vital Practice (Qi Gong) focuses on the body to increase vitality, release physical tension and improve wellness. Postures, movements, forms and sequences are combined with specific breathing techniques to connect you to the vital force (Qi) within you and around you. This rectifies imbalances, improves fitness, benefits your health and replenishes your energy.
Medical Qigong, (aka Healing Qigong), includes techniques and forms that directly benefit physical and mental health. They heal by detoxifying the body, clearing negativity and rejuvenating cells. When you tonify your life force (Qi) it improves your immune system and your capacity to deal with illness. It is these remedial practices that are the origin and foundation of acupuncture.
Internal Alchemy (Nei Dan) focuses on the mind and spirit (Shen) to transform, inspirit and uplift you. Meditations, visualisations, attunements and breathwork tune you into your spiritual energy and consciousness as well as that of the universe. This enhanced perception, experience and embodiment of your innate spirituality increases your personal harmony and psychological wellness.
‘Inspirit Way’ Internal Qigong Alchemy is a holistic style which works with Yin-Yang, The Three Treasures and Five Elements. The classes are organised in five terms following the Five Elements seasonal cycle. Engaging with these fundamental natural principles in yourself and the cosmos you access vital, essential and spiritual resources. Inevitably your physical, personal and spiritual wellbeing benefits.
Internal Qigong Alchemy is based on my trainings with Daoist, Buddhist and Medical Qigong teachers since 1989. This is further informed by the study of Classical Chinese language, philosophy and medicine since 1982. It also includes insights gained from 35-plus years of practicing healing and acupuncture.

Cost is £10 per class.
Spiritual Attunement Qigong classes are on Wednesdays 4pm-5.45pm at the Silver Birch Studio, the Unity Centre, 35 Friars Walk, Lewes BN7 2LG. Cost is £12 per class.
The next Inspirit Way Unity & Alchemy day-workshop is on Saturday 4th December, 2-6pm. Cost is £25-£40
