Ali Rabjohns - Shamanic Practitioner
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference
I’m an experienced shamanic practitioner of Andean Energy Medicine, a teacher and an artist. I live and have a Healing sanctuary in Rodmell, East Sussex near Lewes
After moving back to Southern England seven years ago from Brittany. I have since spent time honouring the Celtic lands through sacred ceremony; I consider this as an important aspect of my light work.
I’m a certified spiritual healer and hold a certificate in ‘The Therapeutic Application of the Arts' from the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education in London. I’m completing an MA in Arts counselling at Tobias School of Arts and Therapy. I’m a trained teacher and have twenty years experience facilitating creative workshops, teaching all ages. Please see www.feltgoodfeltfine.com for details of my artwork, art workshops and exhibitions.
My connection to the mountains has been there since I grew up in North Wales, until I was 7 years old and then we moved to Purbeck in Dorset. As an only child I spent a lot of time in the garden and apparently told other children that the trees were my friends!.
My Dad ran a walking centre in Purbeck and he instilled a love of nature in me. The sea is still a very healing place for me, where I like to spend time re-charging my batteries and bringing my self into balance.
In 2003, after the birth of my second child I was diagnosed with a potentially life threatening health condition. This was a trigger to my healing path and I decided to find out more about natural healing techniques, I was guided to read Alberto Villoldo’s books about his own training, as well as studying a general energy healing course at The College of Psychic Studies. Since then I’ve trained with The Four Winds Society, I’m also initiated as a 4th level Priestess of the Inca mystical tradition under the tutelage of Juan Nuñez del Prado and his son Ivan. I’ve spent time in Peru working with a range of medicine men and women, participating in Amazonian medicine plant ceremonies and in Inca ceremonies in the High Andes.
In 2009, I went to Peru with a group of fellow Four Winds Graduates. It was such an adventure!, we made a pilgrimage to Q’eros. Q’eros was my teacher Don Augustine’s sacred mountain. We also spent ten days making Despacho Ceremonies with Don Augustine around the sites of the Sacred Valley near Cusco. He gave us some very powerful iniatory rites in the final days of our pilgrimage. I didn’t realise just how powerful these rites were until I got home and began to set up my shamanic practice the following year. I’m convinced they gave me the energy I needed to do that.
Since then, I have been practicing as a shamanic healer, teaching the medicine wheel and working with fire ceremonies every full moon for my community.
I’m always interested in developing my medicine and am a bridge between the UK and Peru.
