Claire Brooker

Claire is a Brighton based artist and designer whose work includes drawing, photography, digital collage, and printmaking. 

She grew up in Sussex and developed a fascination for intricate details, rhythms of repetition and nuances of colour whilst being trained in constructed textile design.  In recent work her attention has moved from three-dimensional design into the realms of image making, developing new processes using these elements. 

Botanical sources and the human form are favoured subjects with a focus on exploring composition, shape and fluidity of line. Her images have been described as meditative, colourful, intriguing, delicate, spatial and subtle.

Claire works within a broad range of creative sectors including interior styling and art & design education.  She also undertakes private and public design commissions.
