On June 23rd, a fun and family-friendly cycle ride will tour key sites in the southeast where drilling for oil / gas extraction is taking place.
Cyclists will see for themselves the changes being made in the landscape by the oil and gas industry and learn about the drilling sites’ history and ongoing protector campaigns.
The Tour has 3 routes, for cyclists of all abilities (16 miles, 30 miles & 55 miles), and includes Brockham, Balcombe, Horse Hill and the beautiful Leith Hill, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Please join us on the Tour de Frack - it will be a great day out and you'll see some stunning countryside.
We will meet at Meadowbank Park in Dorking:
9.30am - Talks, refreshments, activities and facepainting
10.30am - Cyclists will set off on tour
Tour Finish (varying times) - Food and Live Music at Leith Hill Protection Camp
Please note* Cyclists should be a minimum of 12 years old, and take responsibility for their own safety. No dogs please.
