Nature Meditations: Deepening into the heart of the Elements Retreat

‘When we pay attention to Nature’s music - we find that everything on the Earth contributes to it’s harmony’ Hazrat Inayat Khan

Nature is constantly speaking to us …. if we listen to it’s rhythm, it will bring us back to what is most essential and real within us. The Universe, nature, and our own being are made of the elements Earth, Water, fire, Air and Ether. When we deepen into these powerful energies, we understand ourselves and our essence, and come to know ourselves through the divine qualities manifesting within them.

Through meditation, dance, sacred ritual and contemplative time in nature, this weekend retreat will provide an opportunity to go more deeply within. By so doing, you have a greater capacity to accept yourself as you are, whilst simultaneously opening up to qualities or aspects you may not have been aware of in yourself.

The retreat is led by Marie-Helene Dalila-Boyle (Farzana) and Kim Paumier (Noor Alima), located in east Sussex (

How will you embrace the coming year and create balance that will nurture you?

As the wheel of life turns to an unfurling of the winter frosts towards the stirrings of new life, we are called to explore the promise of renewal, of hidden potential, of the earth awakening and life-force stirring.

Imbolc commemorates the movement from winter and celebrates the first signs of Spring.  With swan as a symbol for this turning of the wheel, we take the opportunity to gather as women to explorehow we might come into grace with what balances and nurtures us.

Swan medicine teaches us how me might surrender our wings through the currents of transition and slip into the dream-time landscape to revision ourselves. Through this state of grace we become open to our full potential.

We will be using breath work, meditative visualisation, movement and storytelling, to createreflective space for exploring what is important to us. As well as co-creating ceremony and connecting to nature to honour our wisdom as women. Part of the day will be spent out in nature so bring clothing to suit variable weather conditions. We will also be holding a purification rites using the elements.

Fee: £55

Venue:  East Sussex. Full details given on booking.
