Chirpee Flowers

Chirpee Flowers was founded by lifelong third generation florist, Steph Willoughby. After twenty years being a Head of Floristry (with too much admin.) at a FE College, she decided that she wanted to get back to what she loved - flowers! She now lives her life's' vocation and buzzes with ideas and enthusiasm when creating new designs.

An International floristry judge and Chelsea Gold medal winner, Steph has trained students who have achieved over 18 Gold medal winners at Chelsea. Steph has taught in many countries and now hosts bespoke floral workshops in Lewes, as well as online courses.

With a passion for something different, Chirpees' Wedding flowers encompass traditional religious and non-religious ceremonies as well as alternative ceremonies, meadow, pagan, gothic, steampunk or themed. For couples who want something completely outside of the box we are happy to offer bespoke floral art and can design the whole event for you. We recently made a floral coat and collar for a much loved dog who was the honoured guest at a wedding and floral ties for a hand fasting ceremony in a forest, complete with woven willow arch.

We also offer sympathy designs which are eco-friendly and  bio-degradable suitable for green burials. We can decorate the coffin for you if you wish and provide flowers or herbs to give out to guests or scatter at the service. Local home visits to discuss your family flowers are possible and this provides a very unique and personal service.
