We have celebrated Halloween and Samhain, into the darkness and the beginning of Winter . It is traditionally the Celtic New Year, where we can honour the ancestors and prepare for re-birth in the depths of the darkness. This fire is in gratitude for our lineage. Honouring the golden threads that connect to us all and the crone aspect of the Goddess . Come and join us to rest and regenerate!
You are warmly invited to our Full Moon Fire Ceremony.

DIRECTIONS TO LOWER VERT WOODS – NORTHERN ACCESS ALONG VERT LANE
1. Directions – from Lewes and Brighton - essentially you aim for Laughton village (near Ringmer and Lewes) and drive through in an Easterly direction. Go through village past Post Office and then left at the first crossroads into Park Lane. Carry on for c.1 mile past the small industrial estate (if it is on your right) and wooden house on left. Go past the Estate and head up Park Lane for further 1/2 mile to a metal gate-barrier on the right. You’ll see a parking area, some concrete blocks and single lane track off on the right. You'll see Full Moon directions here. The gate will be unlocked though it will look closed. This is Vert Lane. Open the gate and make sure you pull the gate closed behind you.
Drive slowly up the track past 2 gates on the right to a third gate and a chip stack. Park here by reversing carefully in close to otrher vehicles. Don't go straying off on slopes - you might get stuck.. Walk through third gate (directions again) and south down the track. Walk down to the crossroads. Go straight ahead and you’ll see a wooden sticks signpost on the right marking the path to the main camp area. There will be lights showing the way. It's a 10 mins walk and be careful as it will be a little slippy in places.
Do Bring - torches, a light folding seat if you have one, and dress for winter. Bring hot drinks in flasks, and some nibbles to share and a poem song and something to contribute (optional). Bring shakers and small hand drums-rattles if you have them.
Donation of £5 suggested to cover our costs, thanks.
Bring your heart and willingness to connect to the spirit, Nature and our lovely Moon.
